CLR Expands National Vehicle Storage Footprint and EV Capabilities

Merrillville, IN., March 30, 2021 /Newswire/ CLR Auto Transport, a national leader in commercial vehicle drive-away, vehicle storage and maintenance programs, has announced they will be expanding their national storage footprint by bringing onboard five new facilities in Spring of 2021.

Each facility will be capable of storing between 500 and 1500 vehicles, have a full-time CLR staff to run maintenance programs and also have overnight manned security. “Our focus was to serve our clients in five major metro areas where they see their most growth,” explains CLR’s VP of Business Development Marco Perez. “In addition to logistics, we are making a commitment to next generation Electric Vehicle fleets by installing DC (Direct Current) or Level 2 EV chargers at these five new facilities, plus two existing facilities.”

“The speed at which electric vehicle use in the fleet industry is growing at an astounding pace,” says Perez. “At this time, EVs represent 10% of the entire automobile industry. The fleet industry aims to outpace that growth rate!”

The new facilities will be located in Dallas, TX, Fontana, CA, Boston, MA, Wadworth, OH and Fayetteville, NC. These five locations join Gary, IN (Chicago, IL) and Ridgefield, NJ as full operation facilities.
