Privacy Policy

How we handle information collected through the CLR website, your choices and how to contact us about privacy.

Last updated: November 4, 2026. This version applies when posted on the CLR website.

1. Who we are and what this policy covers

CLR Auto Transport Corp. ("CLR," "we," "us" or "our") operates this website to provide information about vehicle transportation, storage and related services. This Privacy Policy describes personal information handled through our public website, quote and inquiry forms, recruiting inquiries, newsletter subscriptions and related follow-up communications.

This policy applies to the CLR website at clrautotransport.com and its CLR-operated preview at clrautotransport.lovable.app. A separate notice or agreement may apply to an authorized client, employee or driver system, a specific customer program or a mobile application. Our existing mobile application privacy notice is available separately. Information collected by another organization on its own website is governed by that organization's notice.

2. Information you provide

The information we receive depends on the feature you use. It may include:

  • Contact and business details: your name, company, email address, telephone number, selected CLR contact, message subject and correspondence.
  • Transportation requests: request type, pickup and delivery addresses, requested dates, vehicle identification number (VIN), vehicle year, make, model, odometer reading and instructions.
  • Storage requests: selected facility, how the vehicle will arrive, whether transportation is also requested, estimated arrival date and time, billing address, optional attention line and related vehicle information.
  • Recruiting inquiries: contact information, opportunity type, home market and the information you choose to include in your message. A formal application, screening or employment process may involve separate notices and authorizations.
  • Subscriptions and preferences: newsletter contact information, company information where requested, marketing or job-notification choices, consent records and information about how you heard about CLR.

Required fields are identified on the form. Optional information is your choice. Please provide only information relevant to your request. Do not include Social Security numbers, payment-card numbers, bank credentials, medical information or copies of identity documents in general inquiry fields. Our public quote form requests service information; it is not a payment-card checkout.

If you provide another person's contact, vehicle or address information, you must have authority to provide it for the requested purpose and give any notice or obtain any permission required by law.

3. Technical information, cookies and analytics

Website hosting, security and analytics systems may receive technical information such as IP address, browser and device details, pages visited, referring pages, request times, error reports and interaction information. Security controls may use an IP-derived identifier to limit abuse. Cookies, local storage and similar technologies may support sessions, preferences, authentication and website measurement.

We use Google Analytics to understand website traffic and improve the site. Google may receive page addresses, IP addresses, browser or device information and cookie identifiers through its services. This processing is separate from the information you deliberately submit in a quote or contact form. Learn more about how Google uses information from partner sites.

You can manage cookies through your browser and use the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on where supported. Blocking storage or scripts may limit some features, including sign-in. Clearing cookies or changing browsers can affect your choices. Browser controls do not remove information you have already submitted to CLR. Contact us about any applicable privacy preference or legally recognized opt-out signal; this notice does not represent that every browser signal is automatically implemented by the website.

4. How we use information

We use information for the purpose of your interaction with CLR and related legitimate business needs, including to:

  • Respond to questions, prepare quotes and clarify service requirements.
  • Coordinate requested transportation, facility intake, storage, release, vehicle processing and customer support.
  • Maintain inquiry, service, consent, communication and business records.
  • Review recruiting inquiries and communicate about opportunities you request.
  • Send newsletters or other optional updates consistent with your choices and applicable law.
  • Operate and troubleshoot the website, estimate route mileage, check entered addresses, provide vehicle-information tools and prevent spam, fraud or unauthorized activity.
  • Meet legal, regulatory, insurance, accounting and recordkeeping obligations, and establish or defend legal claims.

Submitting an inquiry authorizes a response about that inquiry. It does not, by itself, subscribe you to unrelated marketing or authorize a service order.

5. When information is disclosed

We do not sell or rent your personal information. We do not provide your inquiry, customer or subscriber contact information to other organizations for their independent marketing.

Information may be disclosed to the people and providers needed to operate the website or fulfill your request:

  • CLR personnel and service participants: authorized staff, assigned facility contacts, drivers, carriers and other transportation or service providers who need relevant details to review or perform the requested work.
  • Technology and support providers: website hosting and database providers, communications and email providers, analytics, security, maintenance and related support services.
  • Diversified Engage: our inquiry, quote and newsletter workflows use this communications platform, a product of Diversified SaaS, Inc., to receive or organize submitted information and support routing, notifications and follow-up. Website records may also be maintained in CLR's staff systems.
  • Professional and legal recipients: advisers, insurers, regulators, courts or other recipients where reasonably necessary to satisfy legal obligations, handle a claim, protect safety or address fraud or misuse.

If ownership or operation of the relevant business changes, information may be transferred as part of that transaction, subject to applicable law and the privacy protections governing the information. We may also disclose information at your direction or with your permission. This policy does not authorize unrestricted use of customer information by service providers.

The Diversified Engage Privacy Policy explains the platform's processing, including its role when handling information for a customer such as CLR. Direct requests about a CLR message, quote or subscription to CLR first so that we can locate and address the relevant record.

6. Vehicle, address and route tools

VIN decoding sends the entered VIN to the U.S. National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) to retrieve vehicle information. Recall searches may send the vehicle's year, make and model. Following a link to check a specific VIN on NHTSA's website makes that VIN available to NHTSA through the link.

Address verification sends relevant street, city, state and ZIP information to the U.S. Census Bureau geocoding service. Route-mileage calculations send relevant origin and destination information to Google Routes. These providers receive the information needed for their tools and apply their own practices to their processing. Results and associated technical records may be cached or retained to support the website and your request.

Information returned by a vehicle tool can become part of your saved quote when you submit it. A vehicle lookup alone does not place an order or subscribe you to marketing. Information available from a VIN does not necessarily identify the vehicle's current owner.

7. Email and subscription choices

Marketing permission is separate from permission to respond to a quote, contact or recruiting inquiry. Newsletter signup requires the permission shown on the signup form. An optional marketing or career-notification choice applies to the updates described with that choice.

You may stop marketing emails simply by clicking the unsubscribe link in an email you receive, following any other unsubscribe instructions in the message, or contacting info@clrautotransport.com. We process opt-out requests within the period required by applicable law. We may retain a limited suppression record so that your preference can be honored.

Communications systems may record sending and delivery outcomes, bounces, complaints, unsubscribe events and, where tracking is enabled and supported by your email software, message opens or link clicks. A message's browser-view or translation feature may involve an additional provider if you choose to use it. Blocking remote images or using email privacy controls can affect open tracking; it does not necessarily prevent link or delivery records.

Unsubscribing from marketing does not prevent a necessary reply to a request you initiate, an operational communication about an existing service or a legally required notice. It also does not cancel a service. If you wish to change a service arrangement, contact the CLR representative handling it.

8. Text-message privacy and choices

Where you separately agree to communicate with CLR by text, messages may relate to your request or service. Message frequency varies and message or data rates may apply. Providing a telephone number on a general website form does not by itself enroll you in a promotional text program. Optional promotional text consent is not a condition of purchasing services.

We do not sell or share mobile information, text-message opt-in records or consent information with third parties or affiliates for their marketing or promotional purposes. Providers helping us deliver messages or maintain opt-out records may process necessary information on our behalf, subject to applicable restrictions.

Reply STOP to the sending number to opt out of its text messages. Reply HELP where that feature is supported, or contact info@clrautotransport.com or 888-257-2677 for help. If you receive CLR messages from multiple numbers, contact us to request that your preference be applied across CLR-managed messaging programs. A permitted confirmation may follow an opt-out request. Carriers are not responsible for delayed or undelivered messages.

9. How long information is kept

Retention depends on the kind of record, the reason it was collected and applicable requirements. Inquiry, quote, service, recruiting and communication records may be kept for follow-up, ongoing business relationships, audit history, consent documentation, legal or insurance requirements and the establishment or defense of claims.

Some records may need to be retained after a request for deletion, and backup copies may remain until ordinary backup retention cycles expire. We do not promise immediate deletion from every system. When information is no longer needed for a permitted purpose, it should be deleted, de-identified or otherwise handled under applicable recordkeeping requirements.

10. Information security

We use administrative, technical and organizational safeguards intended to protect information, including encrypted website connections and access controls for staff systems. Access should be limited to people with a business need for the information. The appropriate safeguards depend on the system and information involved.

No website, transmission, storage system or email method can be guaranteed completely secure. Use care when sending information and report a suspected privacy or security issue using the contact details below. Do not send passwords or other sensitive credentials in a privacy request.

11. Access, corrections, deletion and other privacy requests

You may contact us to ask what personal information we hold about you, request a correction or deletion, change communication preferences or raise a privacy concern. Depending on where you live, the type of information and whether a particular law applies, you may also have rights to confirm processing, obtain access or a portable copy, restrict or object to certain processing, withdraw consent, or opt out of sale, targeted advertising or certain profiling.

Send requests to info@clrautotransport.com, use our Contact Us form, call 888-257-2677, or write to the address below. Describe your request and provide enough information to locate the relevant records. We may need to verify your identity and, for a representative, their authority. We will seek only verification information reasonably necessary for the request.

We respond as required by applicable law. Rights may be subject to exceptions for legal obligations, security, other people's rights or records needed to complete a transaction or handle a claim. If we deny a request, you may ask us to reconsider by contacting the same address with the subject "Privacy appeal." We will provide any appeal response or complaint information required by the law that applies. We will not unlawfully discriminate against you for exercising a protected privacy right.

For information about Indiana consumer privacy rights and complaint options, visit the Indiana Attorney General's Consumer Protection Division. The existence of a state privacy law does not mean every business or every category of information is covered by it.

12. Children's information

This website is intended for adults seeking vehicle services, business information or work opportunities. It is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly seek personal information from children under 13 through the public website. If you believe a child has provided information, contact us so that we can review and address it.

13. Other websites, portals and recruiting platforms

Links may take you to an independently operated client portal, application platform, job site, social network, government tool or other service. Those operators may collect information directly, including cookies and technical details, under their own notices. Review the notice at the destination before submitting information. A link or embedded service does not give CLR control over another organization's privacy practices.

14. Visitors outside the United States

CLR is based in the United States. Information submitted through the site may be processed in the United States and in other locations where our providers operate. Privacy laws and protections may differ between those locations and your home jurisdiction. Applicable legal protections and any required safeguards continue to apply. Contact us with questions about international processing or rights that apply to your information.

15. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy to reflect changes to the website, services, processing or legal requirements. The version posted on this page includes its update date. Where required, we will provide additional notice or obtain permission before making a materially different use of information. A change to this notice does not override consent requirements or rights provided by applicable law.
