1. Which documents apply

This Legal Center brings together the public website policies and notices of CLR Auto Transport Corp. Our Privacy Policy describes personal-information practices and choices. Our Terms of Use govern public website use. The notices below give additional detail about specific topics and should be read with those documents.

CLR is an independent company. A reference or link to a technology provider identifies a service used by CLR; it does not make CLR part of that provider's corporate group or make another company's legal framework govern CLR's business.

Transportation orders, storage arrangements, customer programs and employment or contractor engagements may have separate agreements and required notices. Those documents and applicable law control their respective subjects. Nothing in this Legal Center changes an accepted service agreement, creates a vehicle reservation, sets a service price or overrides a nonwaivable right.

The pages identify their most recent update date. Updates apply when posted, subject to any notice or agreement required by law. Contact us if you need help identifying the document that applies to your interaction.

2. Cookie and similar-technology notice

Cookies are small records placed in a browser. Local storage, session storage, request tokens and similar mechanisms can support the same kinds of functions without using a traditional cookie. The technology used depends on the page, the feature and your browser.

  • Operation and security: hosting, form protection, authentication and session mechanisms help deliver pages, prevent spam or abuse and maintain authorized access.
  • Functionality: browser storage or session information may support user settings and the operation of a feature you choose to use.
  • Analytics: Google Analytics measures public website activity and may receive page, browser, device and network information and use cookie identifiers. Analytics is different from a required service or security communication.
  • External resources: following links or loading external resources, including hosted fonts and linked tools, may disclose technical request information to their operators. Their notices describe their processing.

Use your browser settings to inspect, block or clear cookies and storage. A change may affect sign-in or other features, and settings may need to be applied separately on each device or browser. Google's Analytics opt-out tool is another option where supported. See Google's information about partner websites for its practices.

These controls do not delete a quote or inquiry already sent to CLR. To request information, deletion or an applicable privacy opt-out, follow the Privacy Policy's request instructions. This notice does not claim that the website has a universal cookie-consent manager or automatically responds to every browser preference signal. Where law requires a particular consent or opt-out mechanism, that requirement applies independently of this notice.

3. Acceptable use

Use CLR's website and forms for legitimate information, service, recruiting and support purposes. Information submitted must be lawful, accurate to the best of your knowledge and authorized for the requested use. Do not impersonate another person or misrepresent ownership of a vehicle or authority to request its movement.

Do not use the site for spam, threats, harassment, fraud, infringement or malicious software. Do not attempt to access private information, circumvent restrictions, interfere with other users or overload tools through bulk or automated requests. Account access is limited to the authorization granted for the system involved.

CLR may investigate misuse, reject abusive submissions, restrict a compromised account or involve the appropriate provider or authority where justified. Enforcement remains subject to applicable law and contractual obligations. No provision prevents a protected complaint, lawful accessibility use or another activity that law does not allow us to prohibit.

The detailed permissions, ownership provisions and restrictions appear in the Terms of Use. Report suspected misuse through the contact details below. A report should describe what happened without sending stolen credentials or unnecessary private records.

4. Accessibility and assistance

CLR aims to make website information and inquiry features usable by people with disabilities. Accessibility is an ongoing effort as content, browsers, devices and assistive technologies change. This statement is not a certification that every page or third-party tool conforms to a particular accessibility standard.

Our design approach includes structured headings, descriptive form labels, keyboard-accessible links and controls, visible focus treatment, meaningful image descriptions where appropriate and layouts that adapt to different screen sizes. These features still need to be evaluated in context, particularly when new content or tools are added.

If a barrier prevents you from reading information, requesting a quote or contacting us, email info@clrautotransport.com or call 888-257-2677. Tell us the page or feature, the task you were trying to complete, what went wrong and, if useful, the browser, device and assistive technology involved. Do not send medical records or other sensitive proof of disability.

We will make reasonable efforts to provide the information or help complete the task through an appropriate alternative channel and to evaluate the reported barrier. Tell us if timing is important. You do not need to complete the inaccessible form to request assistance.

External job sites, maps, government tools and separately operated portals may have their own accessibility practices. If one creates a barrier in your interaction with CLR, contact us so that we can consider an alternative. Your rights under applicable accessibility law remain in effect.

5. Security overview and reporting

CLR uses safeguards intended to protect the website and information submitted through it. Depending on the system, these include encrypted connections, authenticated staff access, permissions, security checks, request limits and operational records. This overview does not represent a security certification, an audit result or a guarantee that an incident cannot occur.

Protect your devices and credentials. Use only the access granted to you, avoid sending passwords through a form and promptly report suspected account compromise. Public inquiry forms are not a secure document exchange for payment details, identity documents or confidential files. Arrange an appropriate channel with CLR when those are needed.

To report a suspected vulnerability or information exposure, contact info@clrautotransport.com with the subject "Website security report," or call 219-795-1040. Include the affected page, a clear description and the minimum technical evidence needed to understand the issue. If you inadvertently encounter private information, stop access and report it; do not copy, change, delete or publicly disclose the records.

This reporting channel does not authorize penetration testing, access-control bypass, disruptive scans or other activity requiring permission. Obtain written authorization before conducting security testing. No reward or payment is promised by accepting a report.

Reports are reviewed and routed as appropriate. If an incident requires notice or other action under applicable law, those obligations apply regardless of this overview. No fixed response time or uninterrupted availability is guaranteed here. For information about personal data, see the Privacy Policy.

6. AI and automated assistance

The website uses automated functions to support requests and provide information. These include form validation, address suggestions, VIN decoding, recall searches, approximate route mileage, inquiry routing and acknowledgments. Automation can improve coordination, but an automated result or message may be incomplete, delayed or incorrect.

VIN and recall information comes from external data sources. A year/make/model recall result does not determine the open-recall status of an individual vehicle. Address suggestions do not confirm ownership or physical access. Mileage estimates do not establish a binding route, rate or transit time. Review material information before relying on it and confirm safety questions with the appropriate official source or qualified professional.

An automatic confirmation does not accept a transportation order, reserve storage or make an employment decision. CLR must review the relevant request and confirm any service commitment through the applicable process. If a result seems wrong or you need a person to review your request, contact CLR.

This notice describes the website's automated functions. It does not mean that every automated feature uses artificial intelligence or authorize a new use of your information. Any materially different processing must be addressed by the applicable notice, agreement and legal requirements. See the tool provisions in the Terms of Use and the Privacy Policy's description of data sent to tool providers.

7. Electronic communications and records

When you contact CLR, request a quote or ask for service, we may use your submitted contact information to respond and communicate about that request. Systems may maintain the submitted information, reference numbers, routing, notifications, delivery outcomes and related consent or preference records.

CLR uses Diversified Engage, a product of Diversified SaaS, Inc., to support inquiry and subscription communications. Its Privacy Policy explains the platform's processing on behalf of customers. CLR remains the contact for the content of CLR messages, its customer relationships and requests about information in CLR's records.

Marketing subscriptions are separate from ordinary responses and operational notices. Follow unsubscribe instructions to stop optional email updates, or contact CLR for help. Where enabled and supported by the receiving software, email systems may record opens or clicks in addition to delivery and unsubscribe events. The Privacy Policy explains these choices.

Text messaging requires the permission applicable to the particular program. A website visit or general contact number submission does not itself authorize automated promotional texts. Reply STOP to the sending number or contact CLR for opt-out help. Message frequency varies and message or data rates may apply. Mobile opt-in and consent records are not provided for third parties' independent marketing.

Electronic records, acknowledgments and signatures may be used where permitted. A checkbox confirming permission to respond is not a signature on a transportation or storage contract. Where a transaction requires separate electronic-delivery consent, a signature, paper notice or an opportunity to retain a record, the applicable process and law govern. Ask CLR for help obtaining a copy of a record relevant to your request.

8. Data retention, archiving and deletion

CLR may retain different records for different purposes. Inquiry and quote records support follow-up and service preparation. Accepted-service records support operations, billing, insurance and applicable recordkeeping. Recruiting records support the relevant recruiting process. Consent and suppression records help honor communication preferences. Security, delivery and audit records help protect systems and explain what occurred.

A single retention period does not fit all of these records. The applicable purpose, customer agreement, legal requirement, limitation period, dispute, preservation obligation and backup arrangements affect how long a record is needed. This notice does not publish an unverified deletion schedule or promise that all information is erased after a fixed number of days.

Archiving is different from deletion. A quote or message archived in a staff system may remain in business records. Unsubscribing changes permitted future marketing; it does not necessarily delete a prior quote, delivery record, consent record or limited suppression entry. Removing an active record also may not immediately remove protected backup or audit copies.

Request access, correction or deletion through the Privacy Policy's contact process. We will review the records and any applicable exception, verify identity where needed and respond as required by law. A legal hold, regulatory duty or another valid preservation requirement may restrict deletion. When retention is no longer needed for a permitted purpose, information should be deleted, de-identified or otherwise disposed of appropriately.

10. Questions, concerns and applicable contacts

For privacy questions, website concerns, accessibility assistance, security reporting or help locating a policy, contact CLR directly. Identify the subject so that we can route your request appropriately. Do not include passwords, bank details or unnecessary identity documents.

For an existing vehicle move or storage arrangement, use the CLR representative or facility contact handling the work. A general website form is not an emergency reporting service and does not substitute for a notice required by an accepted service agreement. If there is an immediate threat to life or safety, use the appropriate emergency service.

Nothing in this Legal Center prevents you from raising a concern with a regulator, exercising an applicable consumer or privacy right or using a legally protected remedy. See the Privacy Policy for privacy requests and appeals, and the Terms of Use for website-dispute provisions.
