1. About these Terms of Use
These Terms of Use govern access to and use of the public website operated by CLR Auto Transport Corp. ("CLR," "we," "us" or "our"), including clrautotransport.com and the CLR-operated preview at clrautotransport.lovable.app. They cover the site's information, inquiry forms, quote-request features and public tools.
Please read these terms before using the website. By using it, you agree to these terms to the extent an agreement is formed under applicable law. If you do not agree, discontinue use. Any separate agreement, required notice or nonwaivable legal right remains effective.
You must be legally able to submit a request or make the commitment involved. If you act for a company, vehicle owner or another person, you represent that you have the necessary authority. Do not submit information or instructions you are not authorized to provide.
2. Website use and actual services are separate
The website introduces CLR's transportation, storage, deployment, remarketing and related services. A website visit, form submission, automated confirmation or reference number does not by itself create a transportation order, storage reservation, employment relationship or binding commitment to perform services.
Actual work is subject to CLR's review and acceptance and to the applicable quote, order confirmation, transportation or storage agreement, bill of lading, customer program requirements and other agreed service documents. Those documents govern the specific services, charges, responsibilities, insurance arrangements, claims procedures and scheduling commitments they address. If there is a conflict, the applicable service agreement controls the service matter.
These website terms do not replace, expand or reduce liability, cargo coverage, carrier obligations, storage obligations, claim deadlines or remedies established by a service agreement or governing transportation or other law. No waiver of those rights is created merely by browsing or submitting a website form.
3. Quote requests and information accuracy
A quote request gives CLR information needed to evaluate a potential service. Provide accurate contact details, vehicle information, addresses, dates, access instructions and any other requested information. Tell us promptly if material information changes or if you discover an error.
A submitted request or on-screen estimate is not a guaranteed rate or acceptance of the work. Pricing and feasibility may depend on vehicle condition and dimensions, operability, route, timing, access, driver or carrier availability, facility capacity, permits and other program requirements. A quote is binding only to the extent stated in the quote and an applicable accepted agreement.
Do not rely on the website alone to authorize an urgent, safety-related or time-critical move. Contact CLR directly to confirm receipt, available service and any required deadline. An automated acknowledgment confirms receipt by the relevant system; it does not confirm that a person has reviewed the request.
4. Storage inquiries and facility selection
Selecting a facility on the Storage Quote form identifies where you would like the vehicle stored. It does not reserve space, guarantee acceptance or authorize delivery. Facility addresses and estimated arrival details assist our review. Availability, allowed vehicle types, intake procedures and access arrangements must be confirmed with CLR before arrival.
If you also request a transportation quote, CLR must separately confirm the pickup, delivery, method of movement and applicable charges. If you arrange delivery yourself or through another provider, coordinate the handoff and facility access with CLR. Do not leave a vehicle, keys or property at a facility without authorization.
Storage charges, minimum periods, billing, vehicle care, release requirements and any additional services are governed by the specific agreement. No storage rate, free-storage period, lien, abandonment procedure or insurance promise is established by these website terms.
5. Service coverage, facilities and scheduling
CLR's stated service territory includes all 50 U.S. states, Canada and Puerto Rico. A coverage statement describes the ability to evaluate and coordinate work within that territory. It does not mean CLR maintains a physical facility in every location or can perform every type of service on every route.
Facility capabilities, operating hours, access requirements, capacity and available services vary. Map markers show published facilities, and approximate coverage circles are illustrative rather than guaranteed service boundaries. Storage locations identified as pending are not confirmed places for vehicle delivery.
Requested pickup, delivery and arrival dates are preferences until confirmed. Operating conditions, weather, traffic, vehicle readiness, regulations and third-party availability can affect timing. Any enforceable scheduling commitment is determined by the applicable service agreement and law.
6. VIN, recall, address and mileage tools
Free tools are provided for general information and request preparation. Their availability and results depend on third-party data, entered information and technical conditions. CLR does not independently certify every returned specification, address, route or recall result.
- VIN decoding: manufacturer-supplied information available through NHTSA may be incomplete or may not describe every feature or modification. A decoded VIN is not proof of title, ownership, condition, eligibility or insurability.
- Recall information: results matched by year, make and model identify general recall records. They do not establish whether a specific VIN has an open recall or whether a repair has been completed. Check the specific VIN with NHTSA and the manufacturer or an authorized dealer. An empty or unavailable result does not establish that a vehicle is recall-free.
- Address verification: a suggestion is a reference result, not confirmation of ownership, safe access, deliverability or a facility's ability to receive a vehicle. Review suggested changes before accepting them.
- Mileage: approximate driving distance is not a binding transportation route, billable-mileage determination, transit-time promise or price. Actual routes and charges may differ under the accepted service arrangement.
Do not use a free tool as a substitute for a required vehicle inspection, safety assessment, professional advice or an official government or manufacturer determination. CLR is not affiliated with or endorsed by NHTSA merely because the website uses its data.
7. Permitted use of the website
You may use the public website to learn about CLR, make legitimate inquiries, use available tools as intended and access materials made available for that purpose. Ordinary browser caching and reasonable copies for your internal evaluation or personal reference are permitted if ownership notices are retained.
You may not:
- Submit false, fraudulent, unlawful, threatening, defamatory or infringing material, impersonate someone or misrepresent your authority.
- Use forms to send spam, unsolicited promotions, malicious code or sensitive information unrelated to a legitimate request.
- Attempt unauthorized access to accounts, private records, source systems, credentials or restricted portions of the website.
- Bypass access controls, rate limits, security checks or other restrictions, or interfere with the site's operation.
- Use automated requests or bulk extraction in a way that violates an applicable restriction, compromises security or places an unreasonable load on the site or its paid tools.
- Copy, sell, republish or exploit protected site materials beyond the permission given here or otherwise available under applicable law.
These restrictions do not prohibit lawful accessibility tools, normal search-engine indexing consistent with the site's published controls, protected legal activity or uses that applicable law does not allow us to restrict.
8. Copyright, trademarks and other materials
Website text, designs, graphics, photographs, software and other original materials are owned by CLR or their respective licensors and are protected by applicable intellectual-property law. CLR names and logos identify CLR. Association marks, third-party logos, government material and other attributed content remain subject to their respective owners' rights.
No ownership interest or general commercial license is transferred by access to this website. Do not imply CLR's endorsement, affiliation or approval of your product or service without authorization. If you believe material on the site infringes your rights, contact us with the location of the material, the right involved and sufficient information to investigate.
9. Messages, feedback and submitted materials
You remain responsible for information you submit and for having the right to provide it. You permit CLR and providers acting for CLR to receive, store, reproduce, route and use submitted material as reasonably necessary to respond, administer the website and perform the requested work, subject to our Privacy Policy, applicable law and any separate agreement.
Submitting a private inquiry does not grant CLR an unrestricted right to publish your message, disclose confidential customer information or use your identity in advertising. Do not use a public website form to transmit trade secrets or material subject to restrictions unless an appropriate secure process has been arranged. An existing confidentiality agreement continues to govern covered information.
CLR may decline, restrict or remove unlawful or abusive material. The public site does not promise a public forum or a right to have a review, comment or submission published.
10. Electronic communications and marketing choices
When you submit an inquiry or request a service, CLR may respond using the contact details you provide and may send related confirmations or operational notices. Electronic records and communications may be used to the extent permitted by applicable law and the relevant agreement.
Visiting the website or requesting a quote does not automatically give consent to unrelated marketing, automated promotional calls or promotional text messages. Optional email subscriptions and other marketing permissions are governed by the choice presented to you and applicable law. You may unsubscribe from marketing emails using their instructions or contact CLR to change your preferences.
If you separately enroll in text communications, frequency varies, message and data rates may apply, and you may reply STOP to the sending number or contact CLR for assistance. See the text-message section of our Privacy Policy for details. Optional promotional text consent is not a condition of purchasing services.
If a law requires separate consent, a particular delivery method or paper notice, these terms do not eliminate that requirement.
11. Accounts and linked portals
Public inquiries do not require you to obtain staff credentials. Any authorized access to a staff, driver, employee or client system is limited to the permission granted for that system and may be governed by separate terms, notices or workplace requirements.
Protect your credentials, do not share access without authorization and report suspected compromise promptly. Do not access someone else's records or continue to use access after authorization ends. CLR may suspend access reasonably needed to address security, misuse or loss of authorization, subject to applicable agreements and law. A linked portal may be operated on a different system with its own requirements.
12. Recruiting and career information
Career descriptions, application links and job notifications provide information about potential opportunities. A listing or inquiry does not guarantee an opening, interview, assignment, compensation level, independent-contractor engagement or employment offer. Availability and terms must be confirmed through the applicable recruiting process.
External job sites and application systems apply their own terms and privacy practices. An employment or contractor relationship arises only through the appropriate agreement and process, not through these website terms.
13. Third-party links and services
The website may link to job platforms, mapping tools, government services, social networks, client systems and other third-party sites. Those sites and services are controlled by their operators and may have separate terms, privacy notices, charges or access requirements.
A link does not by itself mean CLR endorses every statement at the destination or guarantees that service's accuracy, availability or security. Review the destination's terms and use care before submitting information. CLR remains responsible for obligations that applicable law or its own agreements place on CLR.
14. Website availability and corrections
We may maintain, modify, replace, restrict or discontinue website features. Pages and tools may be unavailable during maintenance, outages or events outside our reasonable control. Contact CLR directly if an online feature is unavailable and you need assistance.
We aim to provide useful and accurate information, but errors, outdated information and incomplete descriptions can occur. We may correct website content or clarify a request. A website correction does not retroactively change an accepted service agreement or remove rights provided by law.
15. Website information and warranty limitations
To the extent permitted by law, public website content and free tools are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without a separate warranty that they will be uninterrupted, error-free, complete or suitable for every intended use. Information on the site is not individualized legal, tax, regulatory, insurance or mechanical advice.
These limitations concern the website and free tools. They do not disclaim an express commitment in an accepted service agreement, override applicable transportation or consumer law, or exclude a warranty or responsibility that cannot lawfully be excluded.
16. Limits concerning use of the website
To the extent allowed by applicable law, CLR is not responsible for indirect or consequential losses arising solely from use of, inability to use, or reliance on public website information or free tools, including losses caused by an interruption, third-party data error or unauthorized interference outside CLR's reasonable control.
This section does not establish a dollar cap on a transportation, storage, vehicle-damage or other service claim. It does not exclude liability for fraud, willful misconduct, gross negligence where it cannot lawfully be excluded, or any other nonwaivable responsibility. Actual service claims remain governed by the relevant agreement and law. If a limitation is not permitted in your jurisdiction, it applies only to the extent legally permitted.
17. Applicable law and website disputes
Applicable United States federal law governs matters within its scope. To the extent state law governs these website-use terms, Indiana law applies without regard to conflict-of-law rules, except where mandatory law provides otherwise.
Please contact CLR first with a website concern so that we can try to resolve it. Subject to nonwaivable law and any controlling separate agreement, a court proceeding concerning these website terms may be brought in a court of competent jurisdiction in Lake County, Indiana, or the federal court serving that county. These terms do not require private arbitration, waive a jury trial or prohibit a complaint to a regulator. They do not displace a venue, claim process or remedy governing an actual service under a separate agreement or mandatory law.
18. Changes, severability and enforcement
We may revise these website terms by posting an updated version with a new date. Changes apply prospectively to website use after posting, subject to any notice or agreement required by law. A revision does not retroactively alter an accepted service contract or a claim that has already arisen.
If a provision is unenforceable, it will apply only to the extent permitted, and the remaining provisions continue where legally possible. A failure to enforce a provision on one occasion does not by itself waive enforcement later. These website terms, together with the Privacy Policy and any terms expressly applicable to a particular website feature, address public website use; separate service agreements remain separate.
